Voted Best Powder Brow in Houston

Powder Brows are a form of permanent makeup that create a soft, shaded effect, mimicking the look of lightly filled-in makeup for a natural and polished appearance. Using a digital machine and specialized needles, our artists carefully implant pigment into the skin to achieve a smooth, even finish. This microshading technique is perfect for those who want defined yet subtle brows without harsh lines, making it an excellent choice for various skin types, including oily or mature skin.
For those looking for a more structured, gradient effect, ombre brows can be applied, where the brows are darker at the tail and gradually lighten toward the front. This customizable approach enhances your facial features while maintaining a soft, natural look. Whether you prefer a subtle enhancement or a slightly bolder appearance, this technique provides long-lasting, low-maintenance results, ensuring your brows remain effortlessly beautiful.

The perfect brow

We offer a personalized Powder Brows experience designed to enhance your natural beauty and create perfectly shaped brows. Our process begins with a detailed consultation, where we assess your unique features and desired look. Using the Golden Ratio, a precise mapping technique, we design the most flattering and symmetrical brow shape tailored to your facial proportions.
Next, we carefully select a pigment color that complements your skin tone and hair color, ensuring a natural and seamless blend. Once the shape and color are finalized, we review every detail with you to ensure complete satisfaction before proceeding with the treatment. Only after your approval do we begin creating your beautifully enhanced brows.

- No chemical peels or laser treatments for six weeks prior.

After Your Bowder Appointment
Healing varies based on the individual and the area treated. Following the aftercare instructions provided to you on the day of your appointment is essential for optimal healing.
During the first 10 days of healing after getting permanent makeup, it’s important to avoid the following:
- Touching the Area: Avoid touching the treated area with your hands to prevent infection.
- Picking or Scratching: Do not pick, scratch, or rub the scabs or flakes to avoid pigment loss and scarring.
- Water Exposure: Keep the area dry; avoid swimming, hot tubs, saunas, and long showers.
- Sweating: Minimize activities that cause heavy sweating, such as intense workouts, as sweat can interfere with healing.
- Makeup: Avoid applying makeup on or near the treated area to prevent contamination and irritation.
- Skincare Products: Refrain from using creams, lotions, exfoliants, or other skincare products on the treated area unless recommended by your artist.
- Sun Exposure: Protect the area from direct sunlight and avoid tanning beds, as UV rays can cause fading and irritation.
- Sleeping on the Face: Try not to sleep on your face to prevent rubbing and pressure on the treated area.
- Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit alcohol and caffeine consumption, as they can thin the blood and delay the healing process.
- Facial Treatments: Avoid facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, and other cosmetic procedures that could affect the treated area.
How long does the powder brow procedure take?
The duration varies depending on the area being treated and the complexity of the design. Typically, a session can last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours.
How long does it last?
Powder Brows is a wonderful way to enhance your natural beauty, and it’s designed to last for a good while. Typically, it can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, and often even longer, depending on factors such as your skin type, aftercare routine, and lifestyle habits.
Individuals with oily skin may find that the pigments fade faster. Similarly, those who engage in activities that cause excessive sweating, such as hot yoga, swimming, or sun exposure, may also notice quicker fading. On the other hand, individuals with normal to dry skin may find that the pigments last longer. Additionally, people who take good care of their skin by avoiding exfoliants and acids around the brow area that may cause fading, may also find that the results last longer.
Are touch-ups necessary?
Yes, touch-ups are often necessary for powder brows. The initial application may not achieve the desired color intensity, so a touch-up helps fine-tune the pigment. Some areas may fade more quickly than others, and a touch-up ensures even color distribution. Adjustments may also be needed to perfect the shape and symmetry. Additionally, touch-ups help maintain the appearance over time, as all permanent makeup gradually fades. We recommend a touch-up within 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure, with maintenance touch-ups every 1-2 years depending on the individual’s skin type and lifestyle.
Can you fix previous work done elsewhere?
It depends on the individual whether we can fix powder brows done elsewhere. In most cases, we are able to help, but at times we may not accept clients. Several factors come into play, including the number of sessions previously done, the placement of ink (wrong shape), the color of the ink used (unnatural colors like blue, green, or purple), and the saturation (too dark). Not every client is a candidate for corrections, and in some cases, removal may be required before any further work can be done.
If there is too much scar tissue, residual color, or hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation even after removal, we will not offer additional permanent makeup services. Each situation is unique, and a thorough consultation is necessary to determine the best course of action.
Contradictions
Skin Irritations: This includes conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, rashes, or any active skin infections in the eyebrow area.
Recent Botox: If you’ve had Botox injections within the past two weeks.
Retinol or Tretinoin Use: Must be discontinued for at least two weeks or more before the procedure to prevent increased skin sensitivity and poor pigment retention.
Recent Cosmetic Procedures: If you have recently undergone chemical peels or laser treatments in the area to be treated, you should wait at least one month before proceeding to allow the skin to fully heal.
Extremely Oily Skin or Large Pores: These factors can affect pigment retention and the overall outcome. A consultation is recommended to determine the best approach for your skin type.
Eyebrow Hair Transplant: If you have had an eyebrow hair transplant, we are unable to proceed with additional brow treatments.

Our Reviews
It's been a few years and my brows have held up really well! I got them touched up a while back, and also got my lips shaded. Getting my brows and lips shaded in has made a huge difference, and I'm not even a big makeup person. It is so nice to wakeup, throw on clothes and be able to walk out of the house looking polished without any effort. I get compliments on my brows all the time, even from other artist who microblade.
I've also sent probably 5 people to Kashia and everyone has been thrilled with the results. I'll never go anywhere else!
Original: Kashia did an incredible job on my brows! I wear very little makeup, but have thin brows and was tired of having to fill them in for Zoom meetings at work. My brows look totally natural, but fuller and she did a great job of keeping my natural shape (which is pretty arched) while cleaning it up just a bit.
I followed her instructions for after care and had no scabbing, no peeling and they took perfectly. I just had my touch up and I'm thrilled. She also did a great job on my mom, who had almost no eyebrows. I can't recommend her highly enough!
I'll definitely be back soon to get my lips shaded.
I have friends that have literally said to me, "My friend got their eyebrows done and they look good - yours look AMAZING!"
If you are considering permanent brows, or any other service that is offered at this spa, don't hesitate - go do it!
Kashia is absolutely amazing and an exceptional expert at what she does. I am sure I'll be going in for other services soon.
Kashia is truly a gem—honest, kind, patient, and exceptionally professional. Her establishment is impeccably clean, adding to the overall pleasant experience. If you need any kind of permanent makeup done or spa services, I wholeheartedly recommend Dermaluxe. It's the best place for it!
So look no further because this is your to go to for your permanent cosmetic and skin care!
Thank you Kashia once again for getting my eyebrows just right.
Thank you Kashia!!
She has great attention to detail and doesn’t assume clients’ preferences. For example, she asked me what look I wanted to achieve & paused after treating each brow with the laser to ask if I wanted them lighter before she went up on the laser intensity. This alludes to her attentiveness and care. Highly recommend her!
