We offer a personalized Nano Brows experience designed to enhance your natural features and give you the perfect brows. Our process begins with a detailed consultation, where we take the time to understand your desired look. We use the Golden Ratio, a timeless technique that ensures the most flattering and symmetrical brow shape for your face. This method helps us map out the ideal brow structure, tailored to your individual facial proportions.
Next, we carefully select the perfect pigment color that complements both your skin tone and hair color, ensuring a natural, seamless blend. We then pre-draw hair strokes using a fine pencil, ensuring your brows look symmetrical. Once we’ve finalized the shape, color, and pre-draw, we’ll review everything with you to make sure you’re completely happy with the design. Only after your approval will we proceed to create your beautiful, long-lasting brows.

Is a Nano Brows consultation required?
Important Information for All New Permanent Makeup Clients:
- Photos: When booking online, please upload clear photos of your brows or email them to contact@dermaluxespa.com within 24 hours. This helps us review your brows and prepare for your appointment.
- Consultation: While an in-person consultation isn’t always necessary, it is required before booking, If you have been previously treated by another artist.
- Deposit Policy: Please note: If you arrive for your appointment and we determine that we cannot proceed with the service due to previous work done elsewhere (and a consultation has not been performed), your deposit will be forfeited.

Before Your Nano Brows Appointment
BROWS:
- Avoid plucking, waxing, or tweezing your brows.
- Do not use dye, bleach, or semi-permanent gels that stain the skin in the brow area.
- Refrain from taking Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen 48-72 hours before your procedure.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.
- If you’re on anticoagulant medication, you’ll need a doctor’s permission to stop it for at least 5 days before your appointment.
- Stay well-hydrated the day before your procedure.
- Schedule Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin two weeks before or after the procedure.
- No chemical peels or laser treatments for six weeks prior.
- Discontinue prescription retinoid creams two weeks before.
- Avoid tanning or sun exposure for two weeks before and after the procedure.
After Your Nano Brows Appointment
Healing varies based on the individual and the area treated. Following the aftercare instructions provided to you on the day of your appointment is essential for optimal healing.
During the first 10 days of healing after getting permanent makeup, it’s important to avoid the following:
- Touching the Area: Avoid touching the treated area with your hands to prevent infection.
- Picking or Scratching: Do not pick, scratch, or rub the scabs or flakes to avoid pigment loss and scarring.
- Water Exposure: Keep the area dry; avoid swimming, hot tubs, saunas, and long showers.
- Sweating: Minimize activities that cause heavy sweating, such as intense workouts, as sweat can interfere with healing.
- Makeup: Avoid applying makeup on or near the treated area to prevent contamination and irritation.
- Skincare Products: Refrain from using creams, lotions, exfoliants, or other skincare products on the treated area unless recommended by your artist.
- Sun Exposure: Protect the area from direct sunlight and avoid tanning beds, as UV rays can cause fading and irritation.
- Sleeping on the Face: Try not to sleep on your face to prevent rubbing and pressure on the treated area.
- Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit alcohol and caffeine consumption, as they can thin the blood and delay the healing process.
- Facial Treatments: Avoid facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, and other cosmetic procedures that could affect the treated area.
How long do Nano Brows procedures take?
The duration varies depending on the area being treated and the complexity of the design. Typically, a session can last anywhere from 1 to 3 hours.
How long do Nano Brows last?
Nano Brows is a wonderful way to enhance your natural beauty, and it’s designed to last for a good while. Typically, it can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, and often even longer, depending on factors such as your skin type, aftercare routine, and lifestyle habits.
Individuals with oily skin may find that the pigments fade faster. Similarly, those who engage in activities that cause excessive sweating, such as hot yoga, swimming, or sun exposure, may also notice quicker fading. On the other hand, individuals with normal to dry skin may find that the pigments last longer. Additionally, people who take good care of their skin by avoiding exfoliants and acids around the brow area that may cause fading, may also find that the results last longer.
Are touch-ups necessary for Nano Brows?
Can you fix previous work done elsewhere?
It depends on the individual whether we can fix nano brows done elsewhere. In most cases, we are able to help, but at times we may not accept clients. Several factors come into play, including the number of sessions previously done, the placement of ink (wrong shape), the color of the ink used (unnatural colors like blue, green, or purple), and the saturation (too dark). Not every client is a candidate for corrections, and in some cases, removal may be required before any further work can be done. If there is too much scar tissue, residual color, or hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation even after removal, we will not offer additional permanent makeup services. Each situation is unique, and a thorough consultation is necessary to determine the best course of action.
Nano Brows Contradictions
BROWS:
Skin Irritations: This includes conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, rashes, or any active skin infections in the eyebrow area.
Recent Botox: If you’ve had Botox injections within the past two weeks.
Retinol or Tretinoin Use: Must be discontinued for at least two weeks or more before the procedure to prevent increased skin sensitivity and poor pigment retention.
Recent Cosmetic Procedures: If you have recently undergone facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, or injections in the area to be treated, you should wait at least one month before proceeding to allow the skin to fully heal.
Extremely Oily Skin or Large Pores: These factors can affect pigment retention and the overall outcome. A consultation is recommended to determine the best approach for your skin type.
Eyebrow Hair Transplant: If you have had an eyebrow hair transplant, we are unable to proceed with additional brow treatments.
